BEFORE

Body Weight: 75-80KG
Body Fat: 12-15%
In my late teens and early twenties I was always the scrawny kid and I hated it. So I decided to make a change and get my act together.
FAST FORWARD A FEW YEARS

Body Weight: 95-100KG
Body Fat: 15-20%
I built a substantial amount of muscle mass and strength and turned to the sport of Powerlifting.

Although I had size and elite lifting stats, I found myself on the chunkier side. I had developed from being skinny and weak, to very strong, but overweight.

My workouts mainly consisted of heavy compound lifts and although in the weight room I was very driven and focused, outside of the gym my lifestyle left a lot to be desired. I was far from disciplined with my diet, cardio and sleep and I was partying way too much.

NOW
Body Weight: 95-100KG
Body Fat: 10-12%

I cleaned up my diet, without going over the top and my workouts have changed from all-out Powerlifting to a more well-rounded routine of compound lifts, basic bodybuilding and a bit more cardio. I also prioritize my sleep and as a result, I've never felt better.

Now don't get me wrong, I understand I'm no Chris Bumstead, but I've come a long way and achieved a lot. I've managed to build an aesthetic, muscular physique, with visible abs as well as great cardiovascular ability and all-round good health. This has done while maintaining an elite level of strength alongside a balanced lifestyle where I flourish socially and also professionally.

I don't count calories, I still enjoy the occasional drink and some junk food. I work out consistently and with good focus and intensity, but nothing is crazy hard and I still get plenty of down time.
